Another all-nighter. I'm hungry. I'm thirsty. I'm tired.
It's as done as it's going to be for now for it is due today and I would like to enjoy some sleep before class. When I have time maybe I'll work on it more.

This is my interpretation of the Greek god of war Ares.
The assignment was to do a painting based on your astrological sign. Mine is obviously Aries. My planet is Mars (Roman version of Ares), my animal is a ram and my element is fire.

wow, this is amazing, i love the texure work on the wall and the floor, not to mention the obviously solid anatomy and lighting. And I'm an ares too, so extra brownie points for you! I'm assuming you use corel painter for this stuff but I'd love to know what kinds of brushes you work with. I just got that program and I really have no idea what to do with it.

I don't use painter actually. This is all photoshop. I pretty much use the default brushes but i mess with pen pressure and the shape.
